One Week Training

Our 100 Hr 2-week training is designed in 2 separate parts. For those of you for whom it can be difficult to find 2 weeks out of your schedule, we are glad to propose the 1 week training with the following themes.

Program May 7 - 14

Asana Lab: for the first week of training we will focus on standing poses and variations. Deep hamstring work targeting Vasishtasana, Vishvamitrasana and Hanumanasana. Deep hip opening leading to Eka Pada Shirshasana.

Restorative Yoga: In these first 10 hours, we will be learning the theory, and fundamental aims and benefits of Restorative Yoga, as well as beginning to learn to teach a basic Restorative class.

This Program is for you if you would like to deepen your practice in the above mentioned areas. If you are following the Downwarddog Yoga Centre 300 Hr program, this training will count as electives hours to complete the 300 Hr Training.

Program May 14-21

Asana Lab: for the second week of training we will focus on backbends and arm balances including handstands, forearm balance and tripod headstand to Bakasana, Parsva Bakasana and Dwipada Koundinyasana. The hours will still be a part of the 300 hr. Training.

Restorative Yoga: In these first 10 hours, we will be learning the theory, and fundamental aims and benefits of Restorative Yoga, as well as beginning to learn to teach a basic Restorative class.

This week is for you if you would like to deepen your practice in the above mentioned areas. If you are following the Downwarddog Yoga Centre 300 Hr program, this training will count as electives hours to complete the 300 Hr Training.
